What happens on the day for Birmingham Tank Driving?
The activity starts with a briefing introduction with health and safety information. Then it’s time to put your gobbles on, take you seat inside the tank and the instructor drives you around the track. Now it’s you turn to take control. With each lap being slightly harder, you’ll find out what it’s really like to drive with both the hatch open and closed. The tank driving experience will put you in the driving seat of the FV432 armoured personnel carrier. This particular machine is 17 tonnes of British military equipment with a Rolls-Royce engine, perfect for mobility and strength!
