What is GDPR?
On Friday 25th May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect. GDPR is a new law aimed at protecting consumer’s personal data from being abused or stored without consent. This includes but is not limited to; what data is stored, how data is stored, who has access to data and how data is used. The new regulation also gives clients the option to access their data at any time, update details, or request data removal.
How Simply Good Times comply with this new law?
Simply Good Times only store information that is relevant and up-to-date from people that have engaged with our business (for example booked an event with us or expressed an interest in our events by making an event enquiry). This includes; name and email address as a minimum. We will also store business details including contact numbers and addresses, if provided. Additionally, we promise not to share your details with any other organisation or use your details for marketing purposes unless given consent.
