Disc golf activity is similar to golf, except there are no clubs involved and you throw a Frisbee® rather than hit a ball. It's easy to play at a basic level, so can be enjoyed from the first throw.
What happens on the day?
Disc Golf is similar to traditional golf with the object of the game being to complete each hole in as few shots as possible. With disc golf you throw a flying disc or Frisbee® rather than hit a ball, and to complete a hole you have to land the disc in an elevated metal basket. Wherever your disc lands, that's where you make your next throw or "play your next shot". One-to-one tuition is provided before the group are given a practice session to refine their technique. This is then followed competition around the course with medals for first, second and third positions.
Who is it for?
Disc Golf is well suited to corporate events, charity functions and private parties like Stag & Hen Parties. Disc Golf can be enjoyed by children, adults and the elderly alike, making it an excellent sport for everyone.
