You can fly and you will! Six inches above the ground at up to 40mph! Piloting a hovercraft is a very physical experience; your body weight is an important factor in steering and it's like becoming part of the machine and wildly exiting. It is a thrilling driving experience.
What happens on the day?
On arrival at site, all pilots/drivers will receive equipment and a thorough safety briefing. Pilots are instructed on how the hovercrafts work and how to stop them and provided with clear instructions for the rules of the venue, and what the different coloured marshall flags signify. Driving these extreme machines around the purpose built off road tracks is not as easy as it looks, but they are always great fun and guaranteed to get the adrenaline pumping. Once pilots master the controls Hovercraft Driving provides an incredible sense of controlled power as you slide these wild machines.
Who is it for?
Hovercraft racing is an ideal experience for stag & hen parties, and also corporate groups looking to try something different. Combine Hovercrafts with some other off road driving or outdoor adventure activities for a full-on multi-activity day.
