Driving/Flying a hovercraft is challenging, exciting and completely different from anything you've tried before! The pilot's body weight is an important factor in steering and you'll have to become part of the machine to master cornering! It is a thrilling driving experience located minutes from Leeds.
What happens on the day for Leeds Hovercrafts?
On arrival at the Leeds site, all pilots/drivers will receive safety equipment and a full and thorough briefing on how the hovercrafts work, how to stop them, plus provided with clear instructions for the rules of the track and what the different coloured marshall flags signify. Driving these extreme machines around the purpose-built Leeds off-road track is not as easy as it looks when the instructors demonstrate, but they are always great fun and guaranteed to get the adrenaline pumping. Once pilots master the controls Hovercraft Flying provides drivers with an incredible sense of controlled power as you slide these wild machines around the off road course.
