Terms & Conditions

Definitions:

The terms & conditions set out are our obligations to you and your commitments to us when you book events with Simply Good Times. These obligations and commitments along with the information contained in activity, accommodation, and event package booking confirmations form the basis of our contract with you.

The terms 'we', 'us', and' 'our' are references to Simply Good Times.

'Lead person' means the person who makes the booking and will be our main contact. Lead person must be older than 18 years old.

'You', 'your' means all persons named on the booking including the 'lead person' and anyone else added to the booking at a later date.

'Arrangements' means the activities, accommodations, event packages, transport, and any other services of any description booked by us for you.

The terms 'third parties', 'facilitators', 'suppliers' are the person(s), company, or companies delivering 'arrangements'.

'Force Majeure' means any event which we or the suppliers of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, actual or threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control or the control of the supplier concerned.

Conditions:

All prices are current at time of publication. We reserve the right to change the content, timings, date and location of arrangements if we or the facilitators, etc deem it necessary, or if weather conditions threaten to adversely affect your safety. In the event that Simply Good Times cannot move the arrangements to another date or location then a full refund will be issued. Simply Good Times and facilitators reserve the right to exclude any person or group of people deemed unfit or irresponsible, and this can include a one-out all-out option. No refund will be issued under such circumstances. Simply Good Times accept no liability from a third-party. We reserve the right to change the cost of arrangements if changes are imposed on us, and you will be notified as soon as possible if we need to do this. We endeavour to provide as much specific information in our promotional media as possible, however many of the the descriptions and images of activities, accommodations, event packages, etc are generic. We will provide full event and location specific information in an event proposal when you make an enquiry. Facilities and equipment differ from venue to venue, and we promote the closest venues, sites, and activities to the location advertised. By paying a deposit and/or final/full payment it is deemed that you have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions. We reserve the right to change Terms and Conditions without notice, and reserve the right to use a 'third parties' terms and conditions (supplied upon request). Your statutory rights are not affected.

Payments & Cancellations:

Payments by debit card, credit card, or bank transfer are accepted. Card Payments can be made through the website booking system or by phone. An agreed deposit amount is required to secure your arrangements. No arrangements will be booked until we have received payment. All arrangements are only confirmed once you have received a confirmation notification from Simply Good Times. Once confirmation has been received it is the responsibility of the lead person to check the arrangements are correct. Once payment has been received by Simply Good Times it will be deemed that you have read, understood, and comply with the terms and conditions. The lead person who submits an enquiry certifies that they are authorised to agree to the terms and conditions on behalf of all persons expected to attend, including guests added at a later date. If you wish to cancel any part of the booking you should advise Simply Good Times immediately by telephone, followed by a letter notifying us of the cancellation to be signed by the lead person. Simply Good Times shall be entitled to retain all payments already made and to recover, if not already paid, the balance of the total cost as follows. For cancellations made within 49 - 36 days of the event date 50% of the total cost of arrangements will be retained or recovered. For cancellations made within 35 - 29 days of the event date 75% of the total cost of the arrangements will be retained or recovered. For cancellations made within 28 days of the event date 100% of the total cost of arrangements will be retained or recovered. Occasionally, we have to make changes to and correct errors on our website descriptions and other details both before and after bookings have been confirmed, and also cancel confirmed bookings. Whilst we always endeavour to avoid changes and cancellations, we must reserve the right to do so. If we have to make a significant change to, or cancel your booking, we will inform you as soon as possible. We will endeavour to offer you alternative arrangements should a significant change or cancellation occur. We regret that we cannot pay any expenses, costs or losses incurred by you as a result of any change or cancellation. Very rarely, we may be forced by 'force majeure' to change or terminate your event after arrival but before the scheduled departure. This is extremely unlikely but if this situation does occur, we regret we will be unable to offer any refunds, pay you any compensation, or meet any costs and expenses you incur as a consequence.

Charges:

The total cost of activities, accommodations, and event packages is payable six weeks before the event date. The total cost of self-catering accommodation is payable eight weeks before the event date. If the final payment is not received on time then the booking will be deemed null and void, the deposit will be retained, and we reserve the right to sell your package to another client. It is your responsibility to pay the final balance on time as stipulated by Simply Good Times.

If a booking is made less than six weeks before an event (eight weeks for self-catering properties), then the full balance must be paid upon confirmation of availability by Simply Good Times. In these circumstances the lead person agrees that payments are non-refundable. All of the other terms and conditions mentioned here still apply.

Prices:

The price of your arrangements will be confirmed at the time of booking, subject to the correction of any errors. We reserve the right to correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices. We will do so as soon as we become aware of the error and you will be notified if additional funds are required.

Owners reserve the right to refuse or revoke bookings from parties that may in their opinion, and at their discretion, be unsuitable for the property. No properties or rooms within properties can, under any circumstances be sublet or be supplied to or used by guests not named on the booking. Guests should have consideration for others, in particular paying attention to keeping noise levels to a minimum after 22.00. If in the owner's opinion, or property manager's opinion, or in the opinion of any other authority, you or any member of your party behaves in such a way as to cause or be likely to cause danger, upset or distress to any other person(s), or damage to the self-catering property, or in any way damage the reputation and goodwill of the owner and property we, the owner, and property manager are entitled, without prior notice, to terminate the occupation of the person(s) concerned. In this situation, the person(s) concerned will be required to vacate the property immediately. We will have no further responsibility toward such person(s). No refunds will be made.

You must pay a security deposit for the self-catering property you have booked. The cost of any damage to the property or to any items in and around the property, or any charges incurred by you, or any member of your party (for example phone calls) will be deducted from the security deposit. If the security deposit is not sufficient to cover damage caused or service charges incurred by you, you will be responsible for paying us any additional funds required immediately. Should we receive complaints about your behaviour we reserve the right to permanently withhold your security deposit. Please note, we cannot accept responsibility for any services that do not form part of our contract. This includes any additional services or facilities any other supplier agrees to provide for you, for example broadband. If you have any special requests, you must advise us at the time of booking. We will endeavour to meet requests however we we cannot guarantee that any request will be met. Failure to meet special request is not a breach of contract on our part. We regret that we cannot accept any conditional bookings, that being any booking which is specified to be conditional on the fulfillment of a request. All such bookings will be treated as 'standard' bookings subject to the above provisions on special requests. Whilst we have incorporated and explained our self-catering terms and conditions, each property has its own. These are available upon request. Simply Good Times will not be liable in any instance for any unreasonable terms from a third party. It is deemed by booking a self-catering property that you understand that third party terms and conditions exist and that you will adhere to these additional terms as applicable.
