Code7 Brighton Clay Pigeon Shoot
To celebrate launching the fabulous new website we arranged a fun Clay Pigeon Shooting lesson with our brilliant web design team at a top shooting ground near Brighton. Code 7 have been instrumental in the design and branding of the top new website, and we're over the moon with the results, so a Friday afternoon celebration was in order!
The shooting ground is located deep in the Sussex Downs, and the spectacular countryside near Brighton makes for the perfect shooting location. We plumped for the 30 shot package which is about two-hours of fun (packages from 25 to 100 shots are available). Our instructor greeted us, offered tea & coffee, and signed us in after making sure none of us were drunk, on drugs, or unstable! We were all clean so the serious business of shooting could begin!
Our instructor Richard was professional, knowledgeable, plus a bit of a comedian; and after some tips on gun handling we were hitting the Clays in no time. We went straight into a friendly competition shooting ten shots from three separate stands each simulating different game, whilst getting constant tuition (and jokes) from Richard! The action was unexpectedly halted when a cheeky Jack Russell boldly ran onto the range mid-shoot for a dump and a comedic Fenton'esque chase ensued as his embarrassed owner attempted a rescue! Photographer Andy proved a dab hand with the shotgun and was 'top shot' for the day in more way than one – thanks for the great pictures too!
