Description
Mountain Bike Treasure Hunts are the perfect way to explore the Great British Countryside. Available in beautiful locations across the UK MTB Treasure Hunts routes are planned to take in the best of the area and can include rest stops and charming pubs and restaurants. Different levels of routes are available to suit differing groups and fitness levels. This is an activity for everyone.
What happens on the day?
Team members are provided with mountain bikes and safety helmets. Different bike frame sizes are available. Bikes and helmets are adjusted to suit. In teams of 3/5 riders, the group are allocated 'treasure hunt packs', consisting of cryptic clues, team tasks, and importantly directions. The route itself takes in some of the most picturesque scenery and villages in the locality, staying on peaceful countryside back roads, bridleways, and byways. Tasks include searching for specific items (a horseshoe and yesterday's paper, to name for example) and taking unusual photographs (an ideal souvenir of the event). MTB Treasure Hunts will end at a local pub, where teams swap bikes for well-deserved pints, and answer sheets are marked to calculate the winning team.

Pricing, times and duration
From £30pp a MTB treasure hunt which usually takes around four hours including a lunch stop (longer hunts available). Available on weekdays and weekends.
