What happens on the day?
The Clan Chieftain will welcome teams with a variety of demonstrations before the competition begins. Performances of traditional Scottish games by experts, and falconry displays can be arranged, and guests can try duck herding! Absorbing the atmosphere, teams compete head-to-head in tradtional and modern activities ranging from tossing the caber, highland dancing and whisky tasting to creating traditional musical pipes and performing with drums in a Highland band. With so many options you can tailor your Highland Fling to suit requirements making it as much fun to watch as it is to participate in. Add a Ceilidh, Burns Supper, or stay in a Scottish Mansion and the magic will continue all weekend.
