Description
The dirt buggy is a unique machine that has a 400cc engine, race chassis, off-road tyres, and a full roll cage – awesome! These machines love to be thrown in to corners and with rear wheel drive there's lots of sliding and sideways action on the purpose-built Nottingham circuits.
What happens on the day for Nottingham Dirt Buggy Drive?
Jump behind the wheel of a beefy 400cc Off-Road Buggy and throw up some major dirt around Nottingham's two custom built tracks. The activity begins with a safety briefing where drivers are issued with safety equipment and familiarised with the controls of the buggies. Drivers are then shown how to get the maximum performance out of the buggies and the two Nottingham tracks. The two 400m Off Road Buggy Tracks are designed to test different driving skills and include bridges, switchbacks, tarmac and dirt sections. One track has a huge jump and is very twisty whilst the other is more speed based, being flatter with less corners and a faster surface. Drivers alternate at regular intervals to make sure that all participants have equal race time on the course.
Who is Nottingham Dirt Buggy Drive for?
