Wakeboarding is a high-speed action sport where the rider is towed at around 20mph performing jumps and tricks. Beginner lessons take place with a cable tow on shallow, calm water.
What happens on the day?
Riders are given wetsuits and protective gear and shown to the changing rooms to get ready. Your instructor takes you through the basics on land before it's onto the water to Wake Board! Beginner lessons take place with a cable tow on shallow, calm water. This is the perfect wake boarding learning device, it is only you riding, nobody in front or behind you, just like a boat but with no wake. For the more advanced rider the cable tow is perfect to learn new tricks. At all times the instructor is in control and can adjust the speed to suit your riding level. If you fall in the instructor will bring the handle right back to you!
