Parkour is a training discipline that developed out of military obstacle course training. Taken to the streets Free Runners aim to move from one place to another, negotiating the obstacles in between with style and grace. According to its creator, Sébastien Foucan, "Freerunning is the art of expressing yourself in your environment without limitations: It is the art of movement and action." Sébastien states free Running developed from Parkour when he started making it more personal to the individual, adapting it to each person's strengths and weaknesses.
What happens on the day?
Learn the dynamic form of free running from certified instructors in UK cities. This two-hour high-energy Parkour session will take you through multi-purpose drills of free-running to work on your balance, spatial awareness, coordination and strength.
