What happens on the day?

The activity begins with a safety briefing where drivers are issued with safety equipment and familiarised with the controls of their buggy. Drivers are then shown how to get the maximum performance out of the vehicles and the track. Teams or individuals challenge themselves to complete the circuit in the fastest possible time. Drivers alternate at regular intervals to make sure that all participants have equal race time on track. The courses follow a challenging series of turns and fast straights around grass, mud, and gravel tracks. The mud churning buggies are easy to drive having simply an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal.
