What happens on the day for Birmingham Target Rifles & Pistols?
You’ll receive a safety briefing followed by tuition from our sharp-shooting instructors. Once everyone’s familiar with their weapons, there’ll be a practice shoot to hone your skills and then it’s competition time. The shooting activity involves hitting various scoring and drop down targets with each weapon system from approximately 10 metres. To be in the running for one of the medals, you’ll need to remain icy cool under pressure. You’ll have approximately 30 minutes shooting time with both guns and the three marksmen with the highest scores will step up to the winner’s podium at the end of the day.
